Jennifer M. Shabel

Rochester, Minnesota

My interest in practicing law comes from a desire to make a positive impact in people’s lives. I bring a unique perspective to Ryan & Grinde, Ltd., as I spent two years clerking for the Honorable Kathy M. Wallace in Olmsted County. My experience as a law clerk gives me valuable insight into the legal process, which puts me in an excellent position to effectively and efficiently protect my clients’ rights and achieve their goals.

I joined the law firm of Ryan & Grinde, Ltd., because I share their view that consultation and collaboration with attorneys in other practice areas enables each attorney to build solutions that take into account all of our client’s interests. I look forward to using my experience and knowledge to serve the residents of Southeastern Minnesota.

Prior to joining Ryan & Grinde, Ltd., I attended the University of St. Thomas School of Law where I graduated cum laude. I attended college at Jacksonville State University in the state of Alabama where I graduated summa cum laude and was invited to join the Phi Beta Kappa honors society and Alpha Kappa Delta sociology honor society. I may be a transplant to Minnesota, but I’m happy to call the city of Rochester home.

When I’m not in the office, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two little boys, biking and hiking in Quarry Hill Park, and reading intriguing stories about history, science, and design.
