Why I Became a Lawyer
Our society is structured in a way where good, honest, hard-working people often find themselves faced with a problem. I became a lawyer because I am passionate about helping people solve their problems. I find no greater reward than knowing my efforts helped a person resolve the issues that caused them stress and pressure.

Personal Background
I grew up in Chicago, Illinois and graduated with honors from Washburn University School of Law in Topeka, Kansas. During law school, I participated in Trial Advocacy and obtained a certificate in Business Law.  I also clerked for a general civil trial and litigation firm.  I was the Olmsted County Law Librarian before becoming a part of the Ryan & Grinde legal team.   My wife, Angie, and I have two children, Lily and Elijah. We moved to Rochester in 2009.  I spend my free time enjoying the outdoors and playing hockey and golf.
